The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has appointed Rajiv Ashok as the new Managing Director of the National Handloom Development Corporation Limited (NHDC), a Schedule ‘B’ Central Public Sector Undertaking. Ashok was selected from a pool of five candidates interviewed for the position.
Currently serving as the Managing Director of the North Eastern Regional Agricultural Marketing Corporation Limited (Neramac), Ashok’s appointment is subject to requisite clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). He will succeed Rita Hemrajani, who is set to retire on November 30, 2024.
