New Delhi: Ranjana Chopra, Secretary in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.
She will hold this additional responsibility till May 2, 2026, during the leave of Anil Malik, who is the current Secretary of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
Ranjana Chopra is a 1994-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Odisha cadre and is currently heading key policy matters related to tribal affairs.
The move ensures smooth functioning and continuity of administrative work in the Ministry of Women and Child Development during the temporary absence of Anil Malik.
