
Sanjay Singhal has been appointed as the Special Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF). He is a 1993 batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre.
In his new role, Singhal will oversee critical operations and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the security of India’s borders. The Border Security Force, responsible for safeguarding the country’s borders and maintaining peace in border areas, plays a vital role in national security.
With his extensive experience in law enforcement and public safety, Singhal is expected to bring valuable leadership to the BSF, further strengthening its capabilities in countering border-related challenges and maintaining security across India’s frontiers.
