Sanjeev Chopra (IAS: 1990: OR), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries. His tenure in the additional role will be from 9 August 2025 to 21 August 2025, during the leave period of A P Das Joshi (IAS: 1994: AM).
Chopra will be overseeing responsibilities of both departments during this period, ensuring continuity in policy implementation and administrative functions.
