Satya Veer Singh, a 2008-batch IPS officer of the Bihar cadre, has been appointed as Joint Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Singh, currently serving as DIG in the CBI, will replace Ashwin Shenvi, a 2006-batch IPS officer of the Haryana cadre. His tenure as Joint Director has been approved up to March 5, 2028.
