New Delhi : State Bank of India has got the new Chairman when the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the name of Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, Managing Director (MD), State Bank of India (SBI) as the Chairman for a period of three years.
Besides the appointment of Chairman, the ACC also appointed Rana Ashutosh Kumar Singh, Deputy Managing Director (DMD), State Bank of India (SBI) as Managing Director (MD) in SBI up to his superannuation i.e. 30.06.2027. There are total four MDs in the SBI
The Financial Services Institutions Bureau (FSIB) had recommended the name of Challa Sreenivasulu Setty as the next Chairman of State Bank of India (SBI) in the last week of June, 2024. Dinesh Khara, the current Chairman of SBI, is retiring on August 28.
