Informed sources indicate that over half a dozen IAS officers from the 1992 and 1993 batches are likely to be considered in the upcoming review for empanelment to Secretary-level or equivalent positions in the Government of India. Approximately seven officers from these batches are reportedly in the running.
The New Delhi establishment has prioritized this agenda ahead of the empanelment process for the 1994 batch, highlighting the importance of this review in shaping the leadership landscape within the government.
