Surendra Kumar Bagde has been appointed as the Director General of the National Centre for Good Governance within the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, holding the rank of Secretary. A 1993 batch IAS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, Bagde’s extensive experience in public administration positions him well to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing governance and addressing public grievances effectively.
