Surendra Prasad Pant, an officer of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), has been appointed as the Private Secretary to Jitan Ram Manjhi, the Minister for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME). The appointment is on a contract basis and will be coterminous with the tenure of the Minister. In this role, Pant will assist the Minister in managing administrative tasks and policy matters related to the MSME sector.
