The tenure of Himanshu Kumar, an Indian Telecom Service (ITS) officer from the 1998 batch, serving as Joint Secretary (Director level) at the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), has been extended for an additional period of two years, up to March 6, 2027.
Himanshu Kumar’s central deputation tenure began on March 7, 2020, and this extension reflects the trust in his leadership and contributions in managing key administrative functions at UPSC.
