New Delhi: The tenure of Santosh Kumar, serving as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), has been extended.
As per the official order, his tenure has been prolonged for a period of three months beyond June 6, 2026. He will now continue in his position until September 6, 2026.
Santosh Kumar is a 1993-batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer from the AGMUT cadre and is currently handling key vigilance responsibilities within NHPC.
The extension is seen as a move to ensure administrative continuity and strengthen vigilance mechanisms within the organization.
