The central deputation tenure of Nirupama J Dange (IAS: 2007: Maharashtra), serving as Director of Census Operations (DCO) / Director of Citizen Registration (OCR), Maharashtra under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been extended.
With this extension, her overall tenure will now be five years, continuing up to December 19, 2027. The extension has been approved by the competent authority in accordance with the prevailing rules and guidelines governing central deputation.
As Director of Census Operations and Director of Citizen Registration, Nirupama J Dange plays a key role in overseeing census-related activities and citizen registration processes in Maharashtra, which are critical to population data management and policy planning.
