The tenure of Smita Srivastava (IRSEE: 1997), serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, has been extended for a period of one year beyond 29th July 2025.
An official order issued by the government confirmed the extension, allowing Srivastava to continue in her current role to ensure continuity in key higher education initiatives and policy implementation.
