Thube Prateek Vijay kumar has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) at the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on a deputation basis for a period of five years. He is a 2013-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre. His appointment is expected to enhance the NIA’s capabilities in handling cases related to national security and counterterrorism.
