In a recent reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government has assigned new roles to 17 IPS officers. Pratap Gopendra Yadav has been appointed as SP, PTC in Moradabad, while Awadhesh Singh will now serve as SP of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW). Aarti Singh is the new Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Kanpur City. Other notable changes include Ankita Sharma also being named DCP of Kanpur City, Chandrakant Meena taking over as DCP of Varanasi, and Sad Mia Khan appointed as DCP of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Further, Suraj Kumar Rai is the new DCP of Agra, Syed Ali Abbas is the DCP of Agra, and Rahul Bhati has been designated as Commandant of UPSSF in Lucknow. Anil Kumar Yadav will serve as DCP in Lucknow, Abhishek Bharti has been appointed as DCP in Prayagraj, and Sandip Kumar Meena is the new SP for Railway in Gorakhpur. Santosh Kumar Meena has been named Commandant of the 2nd Battalion, PAC in Sitapur, while L S Yadav will be the new DCP for Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Om Prakash Yadav is the new SP for PTC in Sitapur, and Dayaram has been appointed as SP for CBCID in Lucknow.
