Vishwasree B, an officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) from the 2014 batch (Telangana cadre), has been appointed as the Executive Director (DS level) of the Tobacco Board, Guntur, under the Department of Commerce. Her appointment is effective from March 12, 2025, for a period of four years. Vishwasree B takes over from Sridhar Babu Addanki (IAS: 2008: UD), who previously held the position. This appointment marks a significant milestone in her career, where she will oversee the regulatory and developmental activities of the tobacco sector.
