In an official order issued on Monday, Vivek Aggarwal (IAS: 1994: MP), currently serving as Secretary, Ministry of Culture, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Tourism.
This temporary assignment will be in effect up to 7th September 2025, during the period of leave of V Vidyavathi (IAS: 1991: KN), the incumbent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism.
