New Delhi | Vivek Bhardwaj (IAS: 1990: West Bengal), Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, has been entrusted with the additional charge of the posts of Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Department of Land Resources.
The additional responsibility will be effective from January 31, 2026 to February 6, 2026, during the period of leave of Shailesh Kumar Singh (IAS: 1991: Jharkhand). During this period, Vivek Bhardwaj will oversee the administrative and policy-related work of both departments.
