Vivek Gogia, Director of the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB), has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. A 1991 batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, Gogia’s return comes as part of routine administrative reshuffling. His tenure at the NCRB included significant contributions to enhancing crime data management and analytics in the country.
