The Chhattisgarh government has reshuffled the portfolios of four senior IPS officers as part of an administrative update. The new assignments are as follows:
Deepanshu Vijay Kabra has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) for the Anti-Naxal Operations (AJAK) & Training at Police Headquarters (PHQ).
Dr. Anand Chhabra takes over as the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for Training at PHQ, overseeing training and capacity-building efforts within the state police force.
Dhruv Gupta has been shifted to the position of IGP for Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) and State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) at PHQ, where he will manage crime data and technological advancements in policing.
Arvind Kujoor is now posted as the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) for the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF) at PHQ, responsible for overseeing the deployment and operations of state police forces.
These changes are aimed at strengthening the operational capabilities of the state police and enhancing their overall efficiency in handling law enforcement challenges.
