Vishal Gupta, a 2012 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the Gujarat cadre, has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Minister for Culture & Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. He will serve in the Ministry of Culture for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The appointment underscores the government’s focus on deploying experienced officers to support key ministries in delivering their mandates effectively.
