Aravind Kumar M K (IAS: 2011: PB), serving as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Power, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre with the provision of ‘extended cooling off’.
The government has clarified that the earlier order dated 20th June 2025 in this regard stands withdrawn, and the current decision supersedes it.
This repatriation, along with the extended cooling-off period, implies that Aravind Kumar M K will not be eligible for central deputation for an extended duration, as per existing norms.
