New Delhi (27.06.2025): In a series of bureaucratic movements approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, several key officers have been reassigned or promoted to new roles across ministries and departments:
Ashish Kumar Srivastava (IAS: 2011: UD), currently serving as Regional Director (Deputy Secretary level), has been redesignated as Regional Director (Director level) in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Prayagraj. His central deputation is effective from November 11, 2024.
Joyanta Chakraborty (IRSEE: 2006), serving as Director in the Ministry of Civil Aviation, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. The move enables him to avail the benefit of promotion within his service.
Ambarish Vemuri (IFS: 2016) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). His appointment is for a period of three years, marking a significant assignment for the young diplomat.
