Tenure of Pooja Pandey Extended as Director of Census Operations for Arunachal Pradesh & Meghalaya Till March 2027

The central deputation tenure of Pooja Pandey (IAS: 2008: Assam–Meghalaya cadre), serving as Director of Census Operations (DCO) / Director of Citizen Registration (OCR) for Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been extended.

With this extension, her overall tenure will now be five years, continuing up to March 16, 2027. The extension has been approved by the competent authority in accordance with the applicable rules governing central deputation.

In her role, Pooja Pandey is responsible for supervising census operations and citizen registration activities across Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya, which are vital for demographic data collection and effective governance planning in the region.
