The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Saturday recommended the name of Ajai Kumar Srivastava for appointment as Director (Production) at ITI Limited. The recommendation came after a selection process in which a total of six candidates were interviewed for the position.
Subject to the necessary clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), Srivastava is set to take over the role following the completion of the tenure of the current Director (Production), S. Jeyanthi, on June 30, 2026.
At present, Ajai Kumar Srivastava is serving as General Manager with additional charge of Chief General Manager at ITI Limited. His elevation to the board-level position is seen as recognition of his experience and contribution within the organization.
ITI Limited is one of the country’s prominent public sector undertakings in the telecommunications manufacturing sector, and the appointment is expected to play a key role in strengthening its production capabilities going forward.
