The Centre has approved a set of appointments and tenure extensions involving Satish T J, Rajesh Kumar Meena and Vanlaldina Fanai.
Satish T J, a 2010-batch IDAS officer serving as Secretary-cum-Controller of Examination at Director level in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), has been granted a six-month extension in tenure beyond August 31, 2026, up to February 28, 2027.
Rajesh Kumar Meena, a 2015-batch IRS (Customs & Indirect Taxes) officer, has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Department of School Education & Literacy for a period of four years.
Meanwhile, the deputation tenure of Vanlaldina Fanai, a 2002-batch ICAS officer, with the Government of Mizoram has been extended up to March 10, 2027. He has been serving on deputation with the state government since March 11, 2024.
