New Delhi: Swapnil Agrawal (IDAS: 2011) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Financial Services (DFS), under the Ministry of Finance. His appointment has been approved for a tenure up to April 20, 2029.
Agrawal, an officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS) of the 2011 batch, will serve in the Department of Financial Services, which is responsible for matters related to banking, insurance, financial institutions and financial inclusion policies in the country.
The appointment is expected to strengthen the department’s administrative and policy implementation framework, given his experience in financial management and public administration.
