The Supreme Court has constituted a five-member committee to investigate allegations of violence and police action during various protests related to the NEET-UG paper leak.

The panel includes two former IPS officers — former CBI Director Rishi Kumar Shukla (Retd IPS: 1983: MP) and former Meghalaya DGP Dr L. R. Bishnoi (Retd IPS: 1991: AM).
Justice R. Subhash Reddy to Head Committee
The committee will be headed by former Supreme Court judge Justice R. Subhash Reddy.
The other members are former Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court Justice Ravi Shanker Jha and former Delhi High Court judge Justice Shalinder Kaur.
Panel to Examine Violence and Police Action
The committee has been tasked with examining various aspects of the violence reported during the student movement against the NEET-UG paper leak.
It will also examine the police action and allegations arising from the incidents, along with the sequence of events and other related issues. After completing its examination, the committee will submit its report to the Supreme Court.
