Amardeep Singh Bhatia has officially taken on the role of Secretary for the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). Bhatia, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 1993 batch and associated with the Nagaland cadre, will oversee key initiatives aimed at bolstering industry growth and internal trade.
