In a recent administrative update, West Bengal has reallocated three IPS officers to new positions:
Jawed Shamim: Appointed Additional Director General (ADG) and Inspector General of Police (IGP) for the Intelligence Branch (IB), with additional responsibilities as Additional Director of Security.
Manish Joshi: Now serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (P) to the Governor.
Mrs. Santi Das: Assumed the role of Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) at the West Bengal Human Rights Commission (WBHRC).
