New Delhi: Anita Shukla (Year of Allotment: 2006), who is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Ecuador.
According to official sources, Shukla will represent India in Ecuador and is expected to take up her assignment shortly. Her appointment reflects the government’s continued efforts to strengthen India’s diplomatic presence and engagement in the Latin American region.
As Ambassador, Anita Shukla will work towards enhancing bilateral relations between India and Ecuador across various sectors including trade, investment, cultural exchange, and development cooperation.
