Bibhuti Bhusan Patel (IOFS: 2000), who was serving as Director in the Ministry of Defence, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
The repatriation comes ahead of the completion of his central deputation tenure, and official orders to this effect have been issued. Patel is an officer of the Indian Ordnance Factory Service (IOFS) and is expected to resume responsibilities in his parent organization.
No official reason has been cited for the early repatriation.
