Dinesh Hariram Mate, a 2012-batch officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG) at the Deputy Secretary level in the Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai, under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways.
His appointment will be for a period of four years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The posting is expected to strengthen the administrative and policy framework of the Directorate in line with the Ministry’s maritime initiatives.
