The tenure of Kuldeep Dwivedi (IPS: 2005: Jharkhand), Joint Director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), has been extended for a period of two years beyond 17 January 2026, making his total tenure seven years in the post.
The extension has been approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), as part of routine cadre management in the premier investigative agency.
