
New Delhi : The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) appointed five civil servants to Foreign and Captive posts of the Government of India in Washington, Geneva and Brussels for a period of three years. The list of newly appointed officers goes as follows:
Ashutosh Jindal (IAS: 1995: TR) was appointed to the post of Minister (Economic) in the Economic Wing, Embassy of India, Washington DC, USA; a foreign post of Govt of India under the Department of Economic Affairs. He replaces Ravi Kota (lAS: 1993: AM). Currently, Jindal is serving as Additional Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat.
Nikunj Kumar Srivastava (IAS: 1998: MP) was appointed as Senior Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank, Washington DC, USA; a Captive post of Govt of India under the Department of Economic Affairs. He replaces Rajeev Topno (IAS: 1996: GJ).
Hrisheekesh Arvind Modak (IAS: 2008: MN) was appointed to the post of Adviser to the Executive Director, World Bank, Washington DC, USA; a Captive Post of GoI under the Department of Economic Affairs. He replaces Rajender Kumar (IAS: 2004: GJ). Currently, Modak is working as Director, PMO.
Anshika Arora (IES: 2010) was appointed as Counsellor (Services), Permanent Mission of India (PMI), World Trade Organization (WTO), Geneva; a Foreign post of GoI under the Department of Commerce. She replaces Sangeeta Saxena (IES: 2001) who will be completing her tenure on 18.07.2024. Currently, Anshika Arora is working as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce.
Ashutosh Salil (IAS: 2010: MH) was appointed as Adviser (Industry & Engineering), Embassy of India, Brussels; a Foreign post of GoI under Department of Commerce. He replaces N Ashok Kumar (IAS: 2004: MN).
