- Ojha appointed new DG (M&C); Sheyphali Sharan removed

New Delhi : The government has reshuffled seven Indian Information Service (IIS) officers including the officer in-charge of media and communication. Interestingly DG level officer Dhirendra Ojha has been entrusted with the charge of Principal DG (M&C), PIB replacing Sheyphali B Sharan.
Dhirendra Ojha has been appointed as DG (Media & Communication), PIB, New Delhi and will function as Principal DG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi.
Sheyphali B Sharan has been appointed as DG, Publication Division, New Delhi.
Y K Baweja has been appointed as DG, Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), New Delhi.
B Narayanan has been appointed as DG, New Media Wing (NMW), New Delhi with the additional charge of Electronic Media Monitoring Centre (EMMC), New Delhi.
Pragya Paliwal Gaur has been appointed as DG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi on the strength of PIB, Lucknow to look after the Research Unit, PIB, New Delhi.
Pushpinder Kaur has been appointed as ADG (M&C), PIB, New Delhi to look after the work of the Election Commission of India, New Delhi.
Shruti Ojha has been appointed as Assistant Director (News), DDK, Lucknow upon completion of training at IIMC, New Delhi.
