New Delhi, July 4: Mamta Rahul (IPS: 2007: Rajasthan), currently serving as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the force.
According to the official order, her appointment as Inspector General will take effect from the date she assumes charge of the post and will remain valid until the completion of her current deputation tenure, January 26, 2028.
A 2007-batch IPS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, Mamta Rahul has been serving on deputation in the CISF. Her elevation to the rank of Inspector General reflects the government’s decision to entrust her with greater responsibilities in one of the country’s key Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
