New Delhi, July 4: Manoj Tiwari (IPS: 2003: Sikkim), presently serving as Director, Dr. Ambedkar Foundation under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Border Security Force (BSF).
According to the official order, his appointment will take effect from the date of assumption of charge and will continue up to August 24, 2030. His central deputation tenure is reckoned with effect from August 25, 2025.
A 2003-batch IPS officer of the Sikkim cadre, Manoj Tiwari has been serving as Director of the Dr. Ambedkar Foundation on central deputation. With his new appointment as Inspector General in the BSF, he will take on a key leadership role in one of India’s premier border guarding forces while continuing his central deputation tenure through August 2030.
