In a major administrative reshuffle, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has transferred 42 Indian Corporate Law Service (ICLS) officers under the Annual Rotational Transfer (ART) 2026, assigning them new roles across the country

In a significant move aimed at strengthening field-level administration, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has carried out a large-scale reshuffle of its officers. A total of 42 ICLS officers have been reassigned to new postings as part of the Annual Rotational Transfer (ART) 2026.

Among the key appointments, Pola Raghunath has been posted as the new Registrar of Companies (RoC), Vijayawada. Syed Hamid Ali Shah Bukhari has been assigned as RoC-cum-Official Liquidator (OL), Jammu & Kashmir, while A K Bunkar takes charge as the new RoC, Bangalore.

Several senior-level reshuffles have also taken place at the Regional Director (RD) level. M K Barua has been moved from RD, NR-II Chandigarh to RD, Eastern Region (ER), Kolkata, while Alok Tandon has been transferred in the reverse direction.

At the headquarters level, multiple officers have been reassigned to key divisions such as DGCoA, Insolvency, CSR Cell, and E-Governance. Notably, Arun Prasad M has been moved to MCA HQ (E-Governance), while Sanjeev Kumar Jain takes charge in the Insolvency Section.

In the RoC offices across major cities, significant changes include U Sathiamoorty being posted to Chennai, Shivpal Singh to Ahmedabad, and M Yadubhushan Rao to Hyderabad.

Additionally, a few officers have been promoted and assigned new responsibilities. Brijesh Kumar Kain has been promoted as Joint Director and posted to SFIO, New Delhi, while M Varaprasad Rao has been elevated and posted as RD, SER Hyderabad.

The reshuffle also includes multiple postings to the Central Registration Centre (CRC), Manesar, and Official Liquidator (OL) offices across Mumbai, Chennai, and Kochi, indicating a broad administrative realignment.

This large-scale transfer exercise is part of the government’s routine кадров policy to ensure administrative efficiency, transparency, and optimal utilization of officers across regions.
