The post of Private Secretary (at the Deputy Secretary level) to the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, in the Ministry of Home Affairs, held by Andra Vamsi (IAS: 2011: UP), has been re-designated as Private Secretary (at the Director level) to the same Minister. This re-designation will take effect from January 1, 2025, and will be valid up to August 28, 2029. Andra Vamsi’s tenure will be counted from August 29, 2024.
