New Delhi (27.04.2026): Sanjay Jamuar, a retired Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer from the 1987 batch, has been appointed as the inaugural CEO of Delhi Metro International Limited.
DMIL has been established by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation with support from the government to undertake metro rail projects as well as Operation and Maintenance (O&M) assignments across India and internationally.
The new entity will also provide advisory services to various authorities and financial institutions, helping them plan, develop, and enhance metro and urban transit systems over the long term.
DMIL is expected to leverage the vast experience and technical expertise of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, which has played a key role in supporting multiple Indian cities in building and improving their metro networks.
This move is seen as a step toward positioning India as a global hub for metro rail consultancy and execution, using the proven track record of DMRC in urban transportation development.
