Santosh Kumar Verma, a 1995-batch officer of the Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Department of Consumer Affairs, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. The decision has been made by the competent authority, and he will return to his original service assignment under the Ministry of Railways.
