Shantanu Sinha, a 2009-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the Karnataka cadre, has returned to his parent cadre after completing his training at the prestigious Institute of Defence Studies and Analysis (IDSA). Sinha’s return follows an intensive course that has further honed his strategic and security expertise. His experience is expected to strengthen law enforcement and public safety initiatives in Karnataka, as he resumes his duties in the state.
