New Delh i: The Government of India on Friday issued notifications regarding key administrative appointments and cadre-related decisions involving senior IAS officers.
Sudhansh Pant (IAS: 1991: RJ), currently serving as Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). He will hold the additional responsibility till May 31, 2026, during the leave period of Saurabh Garg (IAS: 1991: OR), who is presently serving in the post.
A 1991-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre, Sudhansh Pant has handled several important administrative assignments at both the state and central levels. The additional charge ensures continuity in the functioning of the Statistics Ministry during the temporary absence of the incumbent secretary.
In a separate order, Dr Pooja Joshi (IAS: 2011: AGMUT), serving as General Manager at the Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) in Bengaluru under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent AGMUT cadre on personal grounds.
Dr Joshi, a 2011-batch IAS officer, was holding a key role in TRIFED, an organization working towards the socio-economic development of tribal communities through marketing support and livelihood promotion initiatives.
The appointments and cadre-related decisions were issued through official notifications by the Government of India.
