Swapnil S Patil, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) from the 2011 batch, currently serving as Private Secretary (at Deputy Secretary level) to the Minister of State for Rural Development, Kamlesh Paswan, has been re-designated as Private Secretary (at Director level) to the same minister, effective from January 1, 2025. His new tenure will extend until August 9, 2027.
