The Government of India has approved the extension of tenure for Nabarun Dhar, an officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), 2004 batch, who is currently serving as Internal Financial Advisor (Director level) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) under the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT).
Dhar, who has been on central deputation since 20th May 2019, will now continue in his present role for an additional period of one year, i.e., up to 19th May 2026.
This extension reflects the government’s confidence in Dhar’s performance and his continuing contribution to financial oversight and accountability within one of the country’s premier investigative agencies.
