The National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) celebrated Constitution Day, marking the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution. In 2015, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment officially designated this day as Constitution Day to promote the fundamental values enshrined in the Constitution. Prior to this, November 26 was celebrated as Law Day.
The Indian Constitution, drafted under the leadership of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, was designed to ensure justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity for all citizens of India.
The celebration took place at NBCC’s corporate headquarters in New Delhi, where Shri K.P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC; Shri Saleem Ahmad, Director (Projects); Smt. Ritu Pande, CVO; and other senior officers and employees gathered to participate in the ceremonial reading of the Preamble of the Constitution. The event was a tribute to the framers of the Constitution, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to upholding the values of democracy and equality.
