In a significant reshuffle within Uttarakhand’s administrative framework, several IAS officers have been assigned new roles and responsibilities:
R Meenakshi has been relieved of her duties as Secretary to the Chief Minister, Secretary of Labour, and Chairman of the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, but will continue with her other current roles.
Shailesh Bagauli, formerly Secretary to the Chief Minister and Secretary of Cabinet (Gopan), has been relieved of his role as Secretary of Higher Education.
Hari Chandra Sempal takes over as Commissioner of Excise.
Surendra Narayan Pandey has been assigned additional responsibilities as Secretary of Revenue, in addition to his existing roles as Secretary to the Chief Minister and Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
Savin Bansal has been appointed as District Magistrate of Dehradun.
C Ravishankar is relieved of his position as CEO of UCADA.
Yugal Kishore Pant has been designated Additional Secretary of Panchayati Raj and Director of Swajal.
Dhiraj Singh Garbyal will now serve as Additional Secretary of Rural Development and Public Works Department (PWD).
