Pazhaniyandi Velayudhan Pillai, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) of the 2009 batch, has been appointed as Director in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change for a period of five years. In this role, he will contribute to the ministry’s efforts in environmental protection, forestry, and climate change initiatives.
