The Central Government has made arrangements for the discharge of duties in the Department of Parliamentary Affairs during the period of absence on leave of Nikunja Bihari Dhal (IAS: 1993: Odisha cadre).
As per the official order, the charge of Parliamentary Affairs will be looked after from 03 January 2026 to 29 January 2026, corresponding to the leave period of Nikunja Bihari Dhal. The temporary arrangement has been made to ensure the smooth functioning of parliamentary coordination and related responsibilities during his absence.
The decision has been taken in accordance with established administrative procedures, in the public interest, to maintain continuity in the functioning of the department.
